Thanks to his father, a real estate broker, Rick Hernandez started his real estate career at age 12. “My older brother and I would place door hangers on homes in the neighborhood,” he says. “We would help ‘farm’ and after years of hearing my dad conduct business, I had a basic understanding of what buying and selling a home consisted of.” Later, Rick earned a degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. “I always had an interest in finance and real estate, so I entered the mortgage business after graduating and got my license in 2002,” he says. “I worked as an in-house lender at a real estate office until 2012, when I decided it was time for a change.”
That’s when Rick joined WCC, where he has been a major asset to the organization ever since. “Working for a direct lender enables me to give my clients and all of my Realtor partners the level of service they deserve,” he says. Within his first year at WCC, Rick earned his way into the “Red Ring” club for top producers and was given a Rising Star award.

A graduate of California Baptist University who attended on a cross country and track scholarship, Alex Rojas dove head first into the mortgage business right out of college in 2013. “I’ve always been a competitor, so I know what it takes to be a team player and facilitator,” he says.
Having worked alongside company president Ed Hoffman for the past five years, Alex has learned from the best in the business and credits that as the reason for his rapid success. In his first years as a loan officer, he was given the company’s 2013 Rising Star Award and the Rudy Award for daily demonstration of an unstoppable drive to win. In 2017, he earned his way into the Red Ring Club for top producers.
