A loan officer since 2017, Aaron Fredericks comes from a background in security operations management, in addition to service as a military police soldier in the Army Reserves. “In both of those roles, I faced diverse situations that did not neatly fit into the solutions box,” he says. “Collaborating as part of a team to find these solutions gave me the most satisfaction.”
Today, he finds that background useful in his role as a loan officer. “I continue to enjoy finding solutions for borrowers whose financial profile may not fit in the big lender’s solution box, but are deserving of a good mortgage loan and quality customer service,” he says. “What I love about being in the mortgage industry is the ability to affect positive change in the lives of our borrowers. While some loan files are tough, it is those loan files and those borrowers that give me the greatest satisfaction when the loan closes.”
Aaron grew up in San Bernardino, California, where he continues to live with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, including at the beach and our local mountains.

Peggy’s more than 30-year background in human resources eventually led her to WCC, where he has been our Director of Human Resources since 2013. In 2017, she made the decision to shift her focus to directly serving our borrowers – specifically, adults aged 62 and over who can benefit from reverse mortgage loans. “I’m taking a leap of faith,” Peggy says, “and doing it all to help those who qualify to benefit from the reverse mortgage product – and, to educate those who may soon qualify for it.”
For Peggy, the interest in applying her professional acumen to reverse mortgage stemmed from engaging in conversations about the myths that surround it. “I get such immense joy just from educating my friends and potential clients on how this product can help them,” she says. “There are a lot of myths out there.” As a reverse mortgage specialist, “My job is to make sure you know what’s true and what applies to your unique situation.” For the benefit of hearing-impaired borrowers, Peggy is partially fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
In her spare time, Peggy enjoys golf, cooking and volunteer work. She lives in Ontario with her “adorable, spoiled” Maltese puppy Maxwell.
